One summer day, Exaggerata and her friend Oblivibob head to their favorite creek. While trying to cross, Exaggerata gets distracted by her exaggerations, slips on a rock, and lands in the Ennedi Massif in Chad! There, she wanders into the mountains and looks into a small pool of water. Staring back at her is a red mud figure that mimics her every move, but it can’t be her, can it? A friendly camel tells her that she will soon turn into a sandstone figure if she doesn’t hurry!
To save herself, Exaggerata must climb to the tallest point in the Ennedi Massif, but this is a dangerous task, and she keeps wasting time with her exaggerations. Will she be able to accept things as they are and complete this difficult task?
Exaggerata’s adventure in Chad will help kids learn to take a logical approach to problems without blowing them out of proportion. Exaggerata will have to learn the same if she wants to make it out of the Ennedi Massif. Head over to Chad to see if she can do it!
